In the firm belief that all businesses bear social responsibility, Metis strives to provide comprehensive protection for our clients' assets but also place a strong emphasis on giving back to society. We particularly value the importance of education, as equipping students with essential knowledge and nurturing them to become capable, virtuous, and well-rounded individuals can be life-changing. In addition, Metis has supported our partners’ charitable endeavours that help the underprivileged ones. Embodied in these charitable acts is our core value – to make a positive impact on the lives of people and the community.

OUR ACTIONS

Funding the Expansion of a School in Hunan, China

Metis supported HK$680,000 in 2017 for the expansion of Santangpu Town Central Primary School in a remote area in Hunan, China, to provide a better learning environment for the students.

Supporting People in Need During the Pandemic

During the difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic, Metis helped low-income families and the children within by contributing HKD 1 million to their schools and relevant charitable organisations.

Supporting Children's Academic and Non-academic Development

Metis constantly donates to different schools and education centres to empower children in skills and knowledge development.

Sponsoring Partners' Charitable Events

Metis has sponsored partners' charitable events in their endeavours to bring hope to the underprivileged who cannot receive proper healthcare.

CENC Ta Tung School - Sponsored 80 low-income families affected by Covid-19.
St. Patrick’s School - Sponsored 40 low-income families affected by Covid-19.
Tang King Po College - Sponsored lunch and transportation for 60 low-income families’ students to join summer work placement.
Hong Kong Tang King Po College - Offered scholarships for 18 students, provided emergency funding, and sponsorship of extracurricular activities for 100 students.
S.K.H St. Christopher’s Home - Supported the sponsorship scheme and purchased fruits for children and staff of Small Group Homes.
Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home (Singapore) - Supported the tuition fee, transportation, and daily expenses for 9 students.
YYD Education Centre (Singapore) - Supported the fundraising for the operation of an educational centre for children from low-income families.

2021

Hung Hom Lutheran Primary School - Sponsored Year 4 to Year 6 students to obtain practical skills and exercise for examination in Cambridge English and Olympiad Maths.
YDD Education Centre (Singapore) - Supported children from low-income families to receive free extra-curricular education.
Hong Kong Tang King Po College - Sponsored a scholarship programme for students from low-income families.
Cheng Su Lan Methodist Home Centre (Singapore) - Sponsored 3 home centre residents for a two-year education in the Institute of Technical Education and supported 16 upper secondary students for their tuition fees.
Tang King Po School - SponsoredR the “Maker Space” programme that enhances students' knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Autism Association (Singapore) - Supported families with autistic members during the Covid-19 epidemic.
CENC Ta Tung School - Supported 100 low-income families affected by Covid-19.
